2012 Day at the Legislature
SNOW Day at the Legislature is a more accurate description of this event held on Feb. 13, 2012!
We cannot control the weather but we still had a successful event! Attendees who braved the snow & slush enjoyed the presentations as well as the chance to meet with their legislators. “Building Bridges of Understanding” Interfaith Youth Tour
OCC’s Religions United Interfaith Youth Tour was featured on the front page of The Oklahoman newspaper on Monday, September 26, 2011. The article with color photos quoted Dr. Tabbernee along with several ministers and youth who attended the event. “Building Bridges of Understanding” visited three houses of worship (Islamic Mosque, Jewish Temple, and Greek Orthodox Church) and presented the youth an opportunity to learn more about each faith. Norway Tragedy
